In this age of Instagram models, a lot of people forget that there was a time when real supermodels dominated the runways. Legends such as Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington stomped the runways in the late 80s into the 90s, paving the way for many of the models in today’s industry. Each one a spectacle, bringing their own unique flavor and personality to the runways, and easily distinguishing themselves from the rest of the girls. These models had real star power and an undeniable confidence that couldn’t help but to draw everyone’s attention. Behind these fierce looks was a sisterhood and special sense of camaraderie that seems to no longer exists in the industry today. “The Trinity” consisted of these three beautiful women who served endless looks, but also cared for one another.

Corey, first I would just like to comment on the visuals of your blog. I love the starry background and how the layout is so cohesive, it is really visually pleasing! I love this blog post specifically because I think you make a really good point how in this age of instagram models, people forget the great supermodels like Naomi Campbell. It is crazy how now models are just people we see on instagram ads, instead of walking in designer runways. In a way it is a good thing because I feel like now it is more inclusive, but it is also a bad thing because you don’t really need any true talent.
