Trunk Shows

Trunk shows are a great way for brands and designers to collaborate with established retailers, as well as test the market and gain crucial ‘in the moment’ feedback from customers. Trunk Shows are particularly helpful for smaller brands who may not be able to afford retail space, but want to test their product in a sort of brick & mortar environment.
They also are useful in gaining insight on what is important to shoppers in different locations and why; but most importantly, Trunk Shows give brands & designers the opportunity to speak directly with their customers and supporters. This allows for a more personal connection, as you are able to fully educate them about your product. The festive atmosphere of Trunk Shows also attracts customers who wouldn’t have normally stopped in or made a purchase otherwise. Though we are in the digital age, I think trunk shows are still an important part of our industry, as they allow for a direct personal platform for people to interact with consumers and really sell their merchandise.
