GOLF: A/W 2018 Look Book

For his Autumn/Winter 2018 collection, appropriately named GOLF le FLEUR, Tyler The Creator took a unique approach to the traditional format of digital look books. Storytelling elements accompanied by attention-grabbing visuals and detailed garment shots allowed for an up close and personal experience with the clothes, even through computer screens. The environment really brought the collection to life, and the changes in scenery were refreshing and made it interesting to watch from beginning to end. I enjoyed the color palette and prints, as well as the jewelry & other accessories featured in the collection. I also really enjoyed the choice of background music — it added the perfect ambiance to the environment and tied everything together beautifully. The diversity of the models was also something that I appreciated about the collection, as conversations surrounding inclusion and representation are important now more than ever, especially in today’s industry. Overall, I really enjoyed this digital look book and could see myself wearing a lot of these pieces!
