Rahmeik Bowen is a New York City based artist whose work focuses on capturing the essence of being black and expressing that through visual artistry. Many of the subjects in his works appear to be androgynous in nature and are brought to life through the use of pigmented color combinations.
Darius Moreno

Darius Moreno is another New York based artist whose art brings a sense of early 2000s nostalgia, as many of his works are inspired by that era, especially adult cartoons suhc as Celebrity Deathmatch and Robot Chicken. The culture in which Darius was raised and the people he grew up around are the main inspirations behind his works. He is greatly inspired by “ghetto-fab” aesthetic and can be seen throughout many of his pieces.

Thaddeus Coats is a student here at FIT focusing on illustration and animation design (he is also a dancer and model!)Thaddeus’ work is inspired by many things from pop culture and music to more meaningful and personal pieces that reflect his life. I love his artistic and the twist that he puts on traditional styles of animation. I appreciate the personal touches he adds to his works to make each piece uniquely his own.
